“The vine has spread her tendrils across the world and a genuine archaic revival was underway. My bags were packed, South America beckoned, and the ancient mysteries of the rainforest awaited. I wanted in on it…” This is the 45th episode of the show released to the web on January 9th 2014. This show features Rak Razam, a new guest to the show. Rak is a freelance journalist, author, film maker, and podcaster from Australia doing a lot of work covering the entheodelic community or psychedelic medicine communities around the world. I just finished watching Rak’s newly released film “Aya:Awakenings”. It is a stunning film that pulls from Rak’s Book that is Titled “Aya: A shamanic Odyssey” and was newly released as “Aya: Awakenings – a Shamanic Odyssey”. In this show we cover subjects all over the map including how the western magical practitioner may approach this area and practice. How Shamans see Ayahuasca functioning on the health and healing of individuals. Some of the metaphysics or cosmologies surrounding Ayahuasca Shamanism and much more. This was an amazing show to record, and I can't wait to turn some more people on to his films. Rak will be touring North America with the film starting with New York on Jan 16 2014 and He’ll be in Boston on January 21.

Creighton and I speak about his stay at the Bullock Brothers farm in the San Juan islands, his work on a recently installed Climate Battery Greenhouse in Morrison, Colorado, and a fantastic highway restoration project that was featured in Permaculture Activist. The audio quality of my microphone in this interview is very bad, and I apologize about that. Creighton's is actually pretty good, so hopefully that makes up for it. I promise to work hard to improve the quality on the next podcast. In any case, enjoy the show! |

On this episode I speak with Frater W.I.T about his new book Advanced Enochian Magick. We discuss his background, dangers of enochian magick (none), preperation for enochian magick, Victorian Magicians like Paul Foster Case, other Golden Dawners, the importance of studying/practicing in a group as well as a whole host of other things. Near the end I read a profound excerpt from his first book in which he has a fascinating experience with the king of air. Frater W.I.T. has been involved in the study and practice of the western occult tradition for more than twenty years. He has received initiation in two schools of the mysteries, one Masonic and the other Rosecrucian. The main thrust of his work is to develop new methods of ceremonial magick. He has been featured on Occult of Personality Podcast, as well as Thelema Coast to Coast, in which he spoke about his first book, enochian initiation. |
